This cute vacation home is situated in the middle of the Netherlands, bordering the small town of Maarssen. The living room looks out to a 'trekgat', a body of water created through the winning of turf, an important type of fuel for the Netherlands in the past. The home was built in 2011 and modeled after the fisherman's homes as can be found in the Zaanstreek in the northwest of the country. The home might remind one a little of Swedish homes as well; a result of the chosen colors.

An orchard containing apple-, pear- and prunetrees lies right next to the house. In addition, some rares species like the quince, the medlar and the mulberry can be found on the orchard.

The home is only available for recreational rental.
Pets are only allowed after prior approval.
Smoking is not allowed inside the home.
